Our success began with our founders – Davide and Filippo – arriving from Italy with incredible memories of their Nonna’s and Nonno’s cooking. Bringing with them a love of pasta, numerous authentic family dishes, and a deep appreciation for the joy and love that comes from eating classic Italian food with friends and family, Davide and Filippo opened their very first Due' Cucina.
Now, close to seven years later and with Due' Cucina locations in West Seattle, Roosevelt, the Village at Totem Lake, and Capitol Hill – and with a brand-new location soon to open in Lakewood Dallas, TX – Davide and Filippo continue to work towards sharing their incredible Nonna’s and Nonno’s generational recipes with friends, family and customers. There’s our Short Ribs Ragu’ with perfectly braised Painted Hills short ribs with a plumb tomato and Chianti wine sauce with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. There’s also our authentic Rome Carbonara pasta recipe with its thick, creamy sauce and cured-to-perfection pork cheek.
